Data controller

Freight Solutions (SAS), 6 Rue du Muehlbach, ZA, 68750 Bergheim, France, processes your data in accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act (« Informatique et Libertés »). The data protection officer (DPO) is Luc MEYER, registered with the CNIL under number DPO-176264, who can be reached through the contact form or by post at the registered office.

Data collected and purposes

  • Contact, quote and appointment requests (identity, contact details, message content) - pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest.
  • Service management and invoicing - performance of the contract and legal obligations.
  • Newsletter (email address) - consent, which can be withdrawn at any time via the link in every email.
  • Audience measurement (browsing data) - consent collected through the cookie banner.

Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes pursued and the applicable legal obligations. No sensitive data is collected, sold or transferred to third parties.

Recipients

Your data is accessible to the internal teams concerned, to our transport partners where the service requires it, and to technical providers acting as processors within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR, who are bound by a duty of confidentiality:

  • Vercel Inc. - website hosting and server-side processing, from the European regions of its network (Paris, Frankfurt, Dublin, Stockholm, London).
  • Supabase - application database and server functions (forms, newsletter sign-ups, reviews), on servers located in the European Union.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) - management of sign-ups and newsletter delivery.
  • Google Ireland Ltd - audience measurement, anti-bot protection of forms and retrieval of business reviews, under the conditions described below.

None of these providers is authorised to use your data for its own purposes. We neither sell nor transfer your data to third parties.

Transfers outside the European Union

Our processing operations and the storage of your data are configured to remain within the European Union. As some of our providers are established outside the Union (in particular Vercel Inc., a company incorporated under United States law), technical access from a third country cannot be ruled out, for example for maintenance or support purposes. Any such transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, together with additional technical measures (encryption in transit and at rest, access control).

Google reviews

The reviews shown on the site come from the Google Business Profiles of our branches and are retrieved automatically through the Google Business Profile / Places API. We display only the information made public by their authors on Google (first name or pseudonym, rating, comment, date, profile picture) and we collect no additional data on that occasion. These reviews remain the property of their authors: any request for modification or deletion must be addressed to Google, which is the data controller for them. You may nevertheless report a review to us through the contact form so that we stop displaying it on our pages.

Cookies

Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to work (session, security, language preferences, consent choice) are set by default: they are exempt from consent.

Cookies and trackers for audience measurement and experience analysis are activated only after your explicit consent, collected through the cookie banner:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) - traffic statistics and browsing paths, in consent mode (Consent Mode v2).
  • Contentsquare (formerly Hotjar) - aggregated analysis of the user experience (heatmaps, journeys, click areas), with no recording of sensitive data.
  • Google reCAPTCHA - protection of forms against automated submissions, when enabled.

You may change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie banner or your browser settings. If you refuse, none of these tools is loaded and your browsing remains fully functional.

Security, spam and intrusion attempts

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption of communications (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access control, account authentication and access logging. Our forms include anti-spam and anti-bot protections (server-side checks, submission rate limiting, honeypot fields) that involve no profiling. Intrusion, hacking or automated data-retrieval attempts (cracking, brute force, scraping) are detected, blocked and may give rise to legal action. In the event of a data breach likely to create a risk to your rights, the CNIL and, where applicable, the data subjects will be informed in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent and to set post-mortem directives. Any request to delete your data is handled by the DPO, Luc MEYER. To exercise your rights, send your request through the contact form or by post at the registered office; you will receive a reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL - www.cnil.fr.
